THE BEGINNING~

  I have always had a love and passion for flowers ever since I was a child growing up and going to see my Grandmother. She was always  so excited to show me her Roses. They were beautiful, and smelled so sweet. I couldn't wait to be able to have a garden of my own.                                        This business started with my  Father- In -Law, Mr. Paul Hiers. Michael Gosnell used to root Azaleas and he would give them away. After Michael lost his battle with childhood cancer, his Mother Betty asked Mr. Paul to continue the business in honor of Michael. That was in 1995, and the Flower business has grown and flourished since then to have many more additions. Mr. Paul was happy to learn of my  love for flowers, and  dream of owning my own flower Shop someday. He began to teach me the ropes and " Julie's Flower Patch" was born.  

    Mr. Paul still sells flowers from his home at 505 Speed limit road. I am operating from a shop in town, in the Ye Ole  Funeral Home building  at 308   First Street West, in downtown Hampton, S.C. 29924  and will be opening soon. My shop is the last yellow shop on the end.
